Performer Guidelines

These guidelines explain the timing, staging, and other information for performers.

Performer Guidelines Details

Performance Timing

Summit StageFest runs from 11 am to 6 pm on Saturday, June 1, 2019. To allow time for early audiences to build, the first stage performances will start at noon.

Music Equipment

If you are bringing a musical instrument, please let us know as soon as possible. You can set it up either right in front/to the side of the stage or directly on the stage.

If you need to play recorded music, please bring your own sound source (laptop, phone, or CD). We will have a CD player, adapters, amplification, and a sound person.

Arrival

Please include extra time to arrive. Traffic may be slow. We will be looking for your arrival behind the stage at least 30 minutes before the start of your show. Please notify a stage volunteer as soon as you arrive. Limited parking will be available nearby, but you may be asked to move additional cars to a designated location up to a block away after dropping off performers and equipment.

Performance & Setup Timing

Performances on the four main stages will start on the hour and can last up to 45 minutes. We appreciate your keeping to this time limit.

At a quarter before the hour, you will have 15 minutes to strike while the next show sets up at the same time. We will have a Stage Wrangler and Ushers to assist you.

Dressing Rooms

Dressing rooms are available for performers at each of the main stages.

Exhibitor Booths for Performers

Free shared booth space will be provided near each stage for performers that wish to distribute information or sell ticket and merchandise.
